Barry was a good guy. We did a presentation together on the Congo Gorilla in 7th grade and couldn't stop laughing during the who assignment. We both remembered it to this day. He loved his dauchund Malcolm, his wife and we became good FB friends. He always had a witty and nice comment almost daily. So I really owe FB the credit for re-connecting us. We had planned to get together after he got out of the Rehab Institute of Chicago for a broken leg. And within a week he passed away. I was totally shocked. Such a shame.

10/5/12  Had lunch with Donnie Minorini last week.  We were talking about Barry, whom we played four years of high school football with.  Donnie said he was one of the funniest guys on the team and he was.  Our junior and senior year Barry had some rough practices, like we all did.  But Barry took it in good humor, never gave up and was always back the next day.  I was able to see him a few years ago at our high school 55 year old party in Highwood.  He still was the same and it was great to see him.  I will always have alot of respect for Barry, he was a good team mate.  He will be missed   jeff jenkins
