Sari was a great friend and I'm sad to read she is no longer with us. She had a real love of life and we went to some great rock concerts together. Her wedding at Congregation Israel was beautiful and the last time I saw her. She was happy and attending Northwestern for a journalism degree. We lost someone quite special.
I looked high & low for Sari's obit. to find out what happened, here it is- I am so proud of what she accomplished for the disadvantaged and others- she deeply cared about people's rights and I'm sure made a huge difference for these people.
Sarah Nelson Gotteiner, age 50, died July 22, 2004 in Sacramento, CA, of respiratory disease complications after a long illness. Sarah graduated from Highland Park High School, Northwestern Univ. and Univ. of California Law School/Santa Clara and was a Member of the Bar in both Illinois and California. A political activist, Sarah worked for the disadvantaged, hearing impaired, and mentally ill.
