Yes! Attending Reunion

I now have 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter from my 3 eldest. My youngest daughter hasn't married yet. My husband and I are loving it!!

Anything Else:

I retired from the nursing profession before our forth child was born. I'm now a "professional volunteer".

After my husband went to congress, I was elected President of the bipartisan Congressional Spouse Class of 2007 - 2009. Actually, I didn't realize being elected president meant that you were "head" of the class for life. The other congressional spouses from my class still turn to me for information, and my husband hasn't been in office since 2011.

I served on the Board of Directors to the NIH Children's Inn, and I'm currently serving on the advisory committees for the Women's Fund, United Way 2-1-1, and the Appleton Youth Education Initiative. I am also involved in several women groups, and many other local community organizations.

I enjoyed seeing everyone at the reunion. I don't go down to Illinois often, so special opportunities like this are wonderful.

My sister's first book just came out, and it's wonderful! It's called "Mom's Losing Her Memory, I'm Losing my Mind!" Taking care of Mom and Dad with Memory Decline. By Kathy Jean Stewart. It's an excellent book, lots of great stories, and I designed the cover. I recommend reading it, it's excellent!

Disclaimer: I placed a picture of my parents on the cover, but neither of them experienced memory decline. My dad passed away in 2006 with his memory intact, and my mom is still as sharp as a tack.

High School Memories

In addition to the school organizations I participated in, my favorite was partying and dancing at the Brat Stop Friday nights, and hanging out with friends at the beach on weekends.
